Foobar2000 is running on a homebrew, no-display micro PC that's stashed in a closet and serves music to the audio system from the NAS. I installed FoobarCon on a dedicated tablet that's wall-mounted in a convenient location, so I never have to go anywhere near the computer. It just works, period, and has for several years.
Custom naming Queue playlist would be nice. For now I did set Queue plugin playlist name so it adds tracks to Con one as workaround. Fortunately this thing works with All Music autoplaylist great in comparision to older Controller. Thanks EDIT: Nah, setting same queue playlist for both makes a conflict where Con can't add anything anymore, sadly.
The developer of the older Foobar Controller app has abandoned his project. That other app was frustrating to use and unreliable. FoobarCon is smooth, feature rich and easy to setup with it's automatice server discovery. I like the hardware volume control and linear adjustment. The only thing lacking is a lock screen control. I would encourage the developer to add lockscreen album art display and control bar. in the meantime the customizable shake control is cool workaround!
Excellent. Worth every penny, lots of features. Some I think that the foobar app doesn't even have. My favorite being the biography feature, I would pay for a artist biography plug in for foobar windows application!
Hello..Complete playlists not displayed on home screen. Fantastic App with 5*. Pl rectify issue.
This app easily connected to my PC over my wifi network, and has a sleek, powerful feature set. I like how the album art is clearly shown for each track being played (and thumbnail album art in libraries/playlists). Works well for me. My growing library is all Flac tracks ripped from CDs that I buy for this purpose; beats the snot out of 320 kbps compressed audio like Spotify very high
Amazing App . Worth the money and more. I was worried it would take a complicated setup to work. But it was running 5min after install. Instructions seem clear. Can't believe it.
Needs updating. Lyrics don't work and it's the only reason I payed. It also needs the ability to queue tracks when holding over a track. As of now there's no point in paying for pro
This is my only 6 star app. Aside Spotify this is my most used application. Best way to remotely play music on your pc from local hdd or cloud storage. the aplication is almost perfect, many many options to browse your library, great intuitive commands, well done IU layout, lyrics auto search is a great feature. Fresh graphics would be nice to integrate with latest android look. it has almost all features I need. Thank you for making this application. Great job. An update would be nice 😁.
Does not show lyrics, keeps disconnecting.. Uninstalling
